Peter joined The Badgett Group as a Financial Advisor with over 20 years of experience in the investment industry. He was drawn to this industry through a passion for helping clients identify their financial goals and developing strategies to achieve those goals.
In 2010, Peter joined Baird as an Options Strategist where he helped clients grow and protect their wealth. Most recently, Peter served as a Portfolio Manager with Baird Trust, A Baird Company. Acting in a fiduciary capacity, he carefully constructed and managed diversified portfolios for individuals, institutions, and charitable organizations.
Prior to joining Baird, Peter began his career as a proprietary trader on the floor of the Chicago Board Options Exchange and went on to serve as the Head Trader for Archelon, LLC, where he was responsible for the firm’s electronic trading activities. Peter has a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Virginia and holds the Series 4, 7, 24, and 66 securities licenses.
